Matchday 09

Norwich City v Barnsley

Sky Bet Championship
Saturday November 18, 2017
Kick–off 3pm

Creativity not only happens on the field of play but also inside the artistic minds of others, who carefully observe and devise their own way to express their passion for the game. This has always been the inspiration behind Patterns of Play and fuelled our desire to provide these talented individuals with a platform to showcase their football-themed works of art.

The programme covers project for Norwich City is proving to be a great opportunity for us to reach out to new talent and strengthen our network of contributors. Our latest recruit is local artist Anmar Mirza who creates abstract paintings from his studio in Norwich. Anmar has grown in popularity over recent years and we’re really excited he’s been able to produce a programme cover piece for us in the style of his latest body of work.

"My piece for OTBC’s matchday programme is based around the Riverside area in Norwich. When I was younger I used to beg my dad to take me to JD sports, so I could get a pair of football boots. The football ground was located just behind the store and experiencing the atmosphere on a game day with a sea of yellow and green walking towards the stadium was quite something. 10 years later, this area has become home. Good luck Norwich!"
