The match against Bristol City sees The Robins pitch up against The Canaries in what could be described as the battle of the birds! With this in mind we decided to pay tribute to Norwich City’s club mascot with a colourful and striking image on the programme cover.

The artwork has been produced by Matthew Brazier, a Norwich University of the Arts graduate with an impressive portfolio. Matthew uses a combination of traditional and digital techniques to create illustrations full of personality. His take on the proud canary is full of character and is sure to stand out with the supporters.

"Taking a bit of a departure from the usual imagery of players on programme covers, I decided to focus on the canary for this one. I hand painted this image of the canary before I scanned it in and added colour and extra textures with a graphics tablet. I think his puffed out chest makes him look proud to wear the scarf and support Norwich City!"
