The Boot Room at Lewes FC
Non-league football club Lewes FC installed four luxury beach huts set within their home ground at The Dripping Pan in East Sussex. Presented as their own take on matchday hospitality, the huts can be hired out by small groups of fans and they provide a unique experience and pitch-side view overlooking the beautiful Sussex Downs.
We were commissioned by Lewes FC to redecorate one of the huts interior and transform it into a themed suite. Our concept was to create The Boot Room – a shrine of football artwork, design and culture paying tribute to Lewes FC and the charms of lower league football. It includes a curated display of artwork paying homage to Lewes FC and the charms of lower league football. Other features include vintage memorabilia, astro turf flooring and a bespoke subbuteo pitch incorporated into a fold-up refreshments table.
The artwork we put on display was carefully curated and art directed by us and contributed by the following artists: Chester Holme, Daniel Baird, Dave Flanagan, Emanuel Colban, Folk + Form, Holly O’Neil, Josh Parkin, Matt Berry, Raj Dhunna, Robbie Jay Barratt, Mr Doodle.
The Boot Room at Lewes FC is available to hire on a game-by-game basis and can accommodate up to six fans. It comes equipped with a mini fridge, free Wi-Fi and a heater for the winter! The hospitality package also includes complimentary refreshments and matchday programmes to remember the occasion and provide a memorable matchday experience.
